Maple Banana Pecan Pastry Puffs

Maple Banana Pecan Pastry Puffs are topped with bananas, pecans, and maple syrup. Their heart shape could look like leaves or flower petals when arranged on a serving dish!

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit or according to the package’s directions. Making sure there is parchment paper underneath, roll the puff pastry out onto a cutting board.

Use a large heart-shaped cookie cutter to cut out shapes in the puff pastry. To avoid wasting any, take the scraps of the puff pastry, and combine them together well. Roll it out again, and cut out additional heart shapes.

Put parchment paper on a baking sheet. Place the puff pastries on top.

Drizzle the maple syrup on each piece of puff pastry. Sprinkle cinnamon. Use a pastry brush to spread the cinnamon, and mix it into the maple syrup.

Add the chopped pecans. Place one or two pieces of frozen bananas on each one. Then, top with the pink crushed ice cream topping. If you prefer it to be sweeter, you can add a bit more maple syrup on top.

Bake the puff pastry according to the directions, around 10-15 minutes or until lightly golden on top.

Serve the pastry puffs with a sweet dip. I prefer to make my homemade Strawberry Whipped Cream Dip. When dipped in this creamy, sweet dip, this dessert becomes like fantastic cream puffs.

Enjoy!
