Next on my list of top Valentine’s Day gift ideas for daughters and mothers is a hand painted portrait from Canvas Art. Instead, the artists work on a computer using an electronic stylus and pressure sensitive tablet together with specially designed software. The result is a very realistic style mixed with a dash of an animation look.

I ordered a portrait of our puppy that the whole family adored. She is our sweetest Valentine this year!

Canvas Art’s artist captured each strand of our puppy’s fur with impressive detail with the range of colors going from the lightest white to the darkest black. The glistening eyes and nose were also a nice touch.

Although I decided on a puppy portrait to honor our new addition to our home, you could also make a portrait of your children or entire family. If you don’t have a photo of everyone together, the company can create that image for you. The day before this item arrived, my daughter and I shared a special mother and daughter sleepover night when we watched the classic version of the movie. We were delighted to see one of our favorite stories shown on a stylish storage case. Since we had bonded over the movie, I knew this would be a special gift for her. Today, she stores her special trinkets inside.

Lone Cone is one of my daughter’s favorite boot brands. She has worn their boots for over a year. Despite wearing them in all weather and for all outdoor adventures, they stayed in good condition. Her latest pair is the Scattered Hearts Rain Boots. The colorful heart pattern is adorable!

My daughters are crazy about the latest fidget trend, Pop Its. Together, they come up with games using the Pop Its, and they enjoy adding more to their collection. Daughters and mothers can match for a Valentine’s Day trip to the spa or pool with PQ Swim’s Mommy and Me line. I chose the adorable tie-dye magenta Spell Scoop One Piece swimsuit. On my daughter, the two straps and one-piece design gave it a good fit. I liked its modest style.

Outside the Box Creation Kid’s Art Subscription Box

Another of my favorite Valentine’s Day gift ideas for daughters and mothers is a crafting experience to enjoy together. My children and I tried out a couple Outside the Box Creation kid’s art subscription boxes, which we liked because they provided an experience to share.

First, I read them a book to inspire their art designs. Next, looking through the new art supplies in the box made us giddy with excitement! Then, they created their original designs. Finally, they were proud to show me their final art work, which we displayed on the wall.
