Oscar Nominations 2022

Oscar Nominations 2022

Today, the Oscar Nominations 2022 were released, which means that I can begin to plan one of our favorite family traditions, an Oscar Party! For the past five years, we have decorated and made special snacks. We make a big announcement that the world famous stars have arrived, and our kids walk the red carpet. Memories like these bring our family together to smile with joy, to celebrate the arts, and to inspire our daughters to be creative.

Of all the movies nominated, Disney takes the lead for the most that my children have seen. I’m thinking for the party, maybe some seaside-inspired Luca cupcakes or candy to represent Bruno’s candy glass in Encanto.

If you’re starting to plan an Oscar party too, here’s a photo from our first party to give you some ideas!
