If you’re looking for a fun Halloween outing, visiting Old Ellicott City offers so much – Ghost Tours, Howl-O-Ween, and frighteningly delicious milkshakes from The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar! These fantastically sweet creations are the perfect way to celebrate a time of year that is all about treats – no tricks here!

You can find 60+ different items on their menu, which includes dairy-free items. In addition to the Crazy Masons and Crazy Cups, they also offer Simple Masons, Crazy Bombs (ice cream sandwiches), Crazy Waffles, Sundaes, and scoops of ice cream! You can keep the jar and/or bowl if you want, or recycle it if you don’t want it.

Some must-try Halloween specialties are Creepin’ It Real (with a cookie that stares right into your soul), Eerie-sistible (a creepy cup of Zombie eye balls), Just My Type (a bloody good delight) and Oh Me, Gourd (a sweet pumpkin pie milkshake).

One specialty at the Ellicott City location is O’ Crab! It comes with Sea Salt Caramel ice cream in a chocolate and caramel-swirled, customer-designed Maryland Jar with a chocolate-iced rim rolled in Maryland flag-inspired red, yellow, and chocolate sprinkles. On top, you get even more treats – a Berger’s Cookie, a milk and dark chocolate Old Bay-dusted crab, whip icing, and EC Pops chocolate-coated popcorn.

The Crazy Mason Milkshake Bar also partners with schools and non-profit organizations to host Spirit Night events. 10% of all of their sales during the event go back to the organization, and they design a custom jar and flyer for the event with the organization’s logo on it. I’ve heard some of these events completely sell out of the jars because they are that popular!
