I’m happy to see that the free movie screenings are back in Columbia! For years, before movie theaters shut temporarily due to COVID, I enjoyed going to these screenings and finding all my blogging buddies there. There was such a sense of community in checking in with one another about what we thought the movie would be like, and reading everyone’s reviews after the embargo lifted. SO to answer any questions, YES, these screenings are 100% legit and real. 😊

Isn’t the chilly weather perfect timing to head to the movie theater? Our family has been doing way too many outdoor things lately, a freezing cold lacrosse tournament this past weekend was one, and it’s time to start planning those indoor activities for the next few months. Movies are the perfect solution, and I’m ready to fill you in this winter on the latest family-friendly releases from all the major networks.

One thing I’m excited about with Strange World is that it was produced by Roy Conli, who I met at the Los Angeles screening for Olaf’s Frozen Adventure, and whose work was also awesome in Big Hero 6 and Tangled. Here’s a photo from the red carpet that night when I met him and Idina Menzel!
