Barnes and Noble of Ellicott City to Bring in PaperSource Next Weekend

Barnes and Noble of Ellicott City confirmed they are bringing in Paper Source with an estimated date of Saturday, November 12th. My daughter and I went to a Paper Source on our recent trip to Georgetown, Washington DC. In Georgetown, an area known for having some of the best shopping in the entire country, Paper Source was the one place found items that we felt just right about buying – small gifts we wouldn’t have found anywhere else, seasonal items to bring festive joy and happiness, and cute stickers for crafting.

Plus, Barnes and Noble has its holiday beverages in their coffee shop now. Grab a cup of a delicious Peppermint Mocha (or Peppermint Hot Chocolate for the kiddos), and pick out a good book for the holiday season.

If you’re looking for some good book recommendations, two that I enjoyed from the Barnes and Noble email list are Lessons in Chemistry by Bonnie Garmus (the author confirmed they’re turning it into a TV series starring Brie Larson) and Fairy Tale by Stephen King (dog lovers will adore this one).

Sweet Elizabeth Jane Unveils Holiday Storefront

We haven’t made it down to Old Ellicott City to see yet, but the photo Sweet Elizabeth Jane shared on Instagram of their new holiday storefront is gorgeous! After Halloween, they flipped their whole store to embrace holiday decor by working around the clock, and it turned out beautifully. You can also shop their Holiday Collection online.

Set a reminder to visit on Small Business Saturday or when the OEC Holiday Bucks are given away at the Welcome Center. It’s usually a free gift of $10 towards any $20 purchase redeemable towards shops, dining, or services in the area.

Target in Ellicott City Brings Back Starbucks

It’s been months since I’ve been able to stroll the aisles of Target with my favorite cup in hand. I was getting worried they would replace Starbucks with Dunkin (those seem to be popping up everywhere, and the coffee just isn’t the same!). However, Starbucks is finally open again at the Target in Ellicott City! It’s the perfect timing for long walks around the store to search for the perfect holiday items.

The newly-designed Starbucks opens up to the Target store, rather than being stuffed over to the side by the bathrooms. It’s perfect for keeping an eye on the kiddos as they shop the dollar spot!
