Fall Shopping & Back to School Guide 2022

Fall Shopping & Back to School Guide 2022

Fall is almost here! As the end of summer break comes near, my tween daughters and I have been busy scoping out the latest pumpkin-inspired graphic tee-shirts at the mall. Now, it’s convenient to find items that can be delivered right to the house — no trip to the mall required! In this year’s Enjoying Family Life Fall Shopping & Back to School Guide 2022, I’m sharing the items I selected for my daughters and for me as the beauty of fall and the changing seasons approached.

Items for My Daughters

Little moments make big memories. With these products, the memories are bound to be great ones. Buying these essentials helps my daughters become organized and prepared for the first day of school.

Mabel’s Labels Stick-on Labels

Last year, personalizing Mabel’s Labels Stick-on Labels with their names changed the organization game dramatically! We went from having school supplies only sometimes return home — to losing nothing at all! We put the labels on everything from the bigger items like lunchboxes, backpacks, and coats, to the smaller items like scissors and pencils.

Mabel's Labels

In the local PTA groups this year, I noticed that the Mabel’s Labels fundraising program was popular. Since the labels are so useful, this can be a great fundraiser to start the year off with some extra funds, and it benefits the students too.

Handzies Soap & Water Wipes

When my daughter volunteered with her 4H group to hold a baby duck in the fair, she had an unfortunately messy incident! Handzies Soap & Water Wipes came to the rescue. All the hand sanitizer in the world doesn’t quite do the job of a wipe sometimes. In the individual packaging, these are easy to slip into a lunch box. I keep a few in the backpack too in case of an emergency mess on the way to school.

The Dearest Grey Mini Silicone Bento Box

Packing a smart lunch is simple with The Dearest Grey Mini Silicone Bento Box. These have the cutest design with their pretty colors and the way the lid gently slips on, which would help the younger ones heading to their first day at school. With different compartments, fitting in fruit and vegetables and an occasional sweet treat is easy to do next to the main meal.

The Dearest Grey Lunch Box

My daughters used these for lunches at camp this summer, which worked out well. There were no spills or messes when the lunch boxes returned home.

Items for Me

Back-to-school time is all about the kids, but it also is a time of transition in my life after having them home all summer. These items for me have all the fall vibes 🍂 , and they help me make sense of some of the extra time I’ll have with them in school.

Haute Shore Billie City Tennis Bag

Imagine the fall leaves falling quietly on a bright, sunny day with a slight breeze that offers some relief from the summer heat. It’s the perfect weather for tennis! Whether I’m playing with my mom’s tennis group when the kids are at school or my daughters and I match against one another, it’s nice to have one bag that fits everything.

With the Haute Shore Billie City Tennis Bag, I can keep water bottles, tennis balls, and even the racket itself all in one place. Make sure to check out where they featured my photo.

Vita Mia Fall Candles

Even though the weather hasn’t changed in the slightest, I’m already lighting my Vita Mia Fall Candle while enjoying my pumpkin spice coffee in the morning. It’s the perfect way to fit in quiet time to get some writing done. The Apple Harvest scent offers a relaxing, inspiring experience!

Viscata Cassis Canvas Handbag

Straight from the nautical boating club in summer to running errands in fall, the Viscata Cassis Canvas Handbag transitions wonderfully in the new season. I like the brown handstraps that coordinate with autumn colors.

Constant Sol shirt

Sun protection and style come together with Constant Sol shirts. The Jovie Wrap Top has long sleeves and an almost weightless feel with light fabric. It offers UPF 45+ protection that lasts for long afternoons out picking pumpkins or strolling in a park on a sunny day.

With these essentials for the kids and for me, fall will be a breeze. 🍃💨
