Now that fall is officially here, it can be easy to get too caught up in the excitement and to feel as though every holiday is here at once! Today, I went on a fast food run for the kiddos, and I learned that even though Pumpkin Spiced Lattes are back at Starbucks, McDonalds has not yet released their Halloween Happy Meals!

You might have seen this image circulating on social media.

This vintage come back dates back to 1986 when McDonalds put their Happy Meals inside a festive Trick-or-Treat bucket. In the 1990s, they brought it back with Pumpkin Pails.

After looking into this further, it seems that McDonalds hasn’t actually confirmed the return of the Halloween Happy Meal at all, but leaked calendars and speculation has led to the conclusion that they might return on Tuesday, October 18th, 2022 at lunchtime, and they would be available while supplies last or until Halloween night on Monday, October 31.

Missing out on the Halloween Happy Meal today was a reminder to me to slow down and enjoy the fall season before jumping into Halloween festivities. 🎃
